Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former politician, as well as a television host on MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, and former cohost of The Hill’s Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. In May 2021, Ball and Enjeti announced that they would be leaving the show to start their own project titled Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the show Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has guest appearances on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her further fascination with politics to her experience after becoming a new mother during the 2008 primaries and also watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She saw the effects the election had on the people in her country and was moved to see the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia’s 1st district in the year 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of The Cycle, an MSNBC program The Cycle. She established the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
