Terrina Chrishell

Terrina Christopherhell Stause [1] was born on July 21, 1982. She is best known for her role as Amanda Dillon in All My Children as well as Jordan Ridgeway on Days of Our Lives. Stause was born in Draffenville, Kentucky. She graduated from Murray State University with a B.A. She began performing in the theater in 2003. The middle title "Chrishell" was a portmanteau title she invented to honor the unique birth circumstances. Her mother gave birth to her baby in the Shell station. Chris, a Shell station attendant, assisted her with her delivery. Strause's book dispels the rumors about her birth. She spoke out about her mother's car problems and walked into an auto gas station. While waiting for her turn, she was admitted to pre-labor and was assisted by the car attendant to get her to the hospital. Strause was born in a hospital. Her mother wasn't aware of the fact that Strause was pregnant. Strause broke up with her father who was half Japanese and half Spanish. Jeff is her step-son. Chrishell Strause skipped a whole year of middle school as she was forced into a tent. Strause described her experience of washing her hair in the river, hiding from her friends and how she was dependent on food stamps. When she was 10, her parents struggled with addiction and mental illness. Strause enrolled in the Worldwide Church of God for some period of time. Strause says her mother was having a self-righteous, free-spirited woman. Her mother did not have an occupation that was steady.
